Shyness

Photographs taken of the land beside the property I live on, intended for public green space. It is the end of summer. Industrial equipment looks its best brand new or aged. In the in-between years, when there are both inclination and declination, there might be affliction, but there might also be the experience of grace.

  1. Hello Faisal:

We are, as always, most moved by all that you write and 'Shyness' is no exception to that. The series of contradictions, for want of a better term, are most effective and thought provoking and the whole poem is beautifully presented.

  2. Dear Faisal,

Here is another poem that I enjoyed reading - I particularly liked the 'finale' where the subject's shyness is not only accepted but (it is hinted) almost enjoyed. I have been in that situation and this resonated with me.

    Thank you

    Kirk

    PS

    I also enjoyed the photography!

  3. Thank you, Kirk, for noticing! I felt it was something that needed to come out from the woodwork, shyness itself, and my own!
