Hello Jane and Lance, I'm touched that you should say that. I'm a little tired of the sound of my own voice and need to step back a little while to find one more alive. It's a diet, if you like. Even now I find it hard to write. I have no intention of losing touch with two of my favourite people!
Matthew, I've been loving my blog immensely, and so many lovely people I've met I consider friends. But I've found myself obliged to keep coming up with posts even when I don't feel too inspired. I've sort of run out of puff a bit. I'm not shutting the blog down, just drawing breath, trying to find what matters more.
Dear Faisal, First the Holy Father announces his resignation and now you are taking a break! What next?! I enjoy reading your blog and so, selfishly, i hope that your interlude is not too long... With best wishes always, Kirk
Dear Kirk, I'm not sure if the Holy Father and I have too much in common, except, perhaps, a need for some space. I don't want to talk, unless I have something to say. I feel I've been saying things to fill a space for a little while. I want to come back with something worth reading/hearing. Thank you.
You will be missed, Faisal! I understand completely. Have a break and come back rejuvenated. By the way, your posts haven't sounded as though you were at all jaded. Best wishes, Carol
Hello Faisal:
ReplyDeleteWe shall miss you greatly, perhaps more than you can realise. Do not, please, lose touch altogether.
In the meantime, take great care. We send our love.
